Venatôre Wins USSOUTHCOM Task Order to Equip and Train Trinidad & Tobago’s National Disaster Relief Warehouse

Venatôre, a leading provider of secure, resilient, and integrated technology solutions for national defense and federal missions, today announced that it has secured a prime task order under the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Preparedness (HADP) multiple award IDIQ, awarded in September 2023 by the 410th Contracting Support Brigade, an IDIQ designed to strengthen partner nation disaster capacity through projects valued at up to $10 million each over a five-year ordering period.

Under the new task order—officially launched this month— will:

  • Outfit Trinidad & Tobago’s flagship Disaster Relief Warehouse (DRW) with new, commercially available radios, computers, printers, furniture, and warehouse fixtures.
  • Install and integrate all hardware and software to deliver a comprehensive warehouse logistics solution.
  • Deliver two tailored training tracks—a 40-hour DRW operations course for up to 35 emergency management professionals and a focused warehouse management practicum for 15 supply specialists, culminating in a hands-on tabletop exercise that simulates a real-world disaster response.
  • Meet an aggressive 250-day period of performance, providing milestone plans, quality assurance surveillance, and a comprehensive after-action report to USSOUTHCOM and the Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA).

“This project turns an empty shell into a mission-ready logistics hub,” said Maria Martinkov, CEO of Venatôre. “By pairing modern warehouse technology with immersive operator training, we’re helping Trinidad & Tobago move lifesaving relief supplies to communities faster and with total accountability the moment a hurricane, earthquake, or flood strikes.”

The DRW initiative supports USSOUTHCOM’s broader Humanitarian Assistance Program objective of reinforcing regional stability by enhancing crisis management capabilities, mitigating post-disaster unrest, and ensuring that citizens are aware that their government can deliver essential aid. Venatôre’s supplies, systems integration, and instructor cadre will provide TEMA with real-time visibility into inventories and streamline the movement of emergency materials across the island nation.
